Located Approximately 45 Miles From The Coast, Primarily Served By US Route 76 And NC 410. The City Operates In The Council-Manager Form Of Government And Is Governed By An Elected Mayor And A Five-Member City Council. The City Has A Stable And Experienced Governing Board With A Progressive Mindset. Chadbourn Has A General Fund Budget Of Approximately $2.2 Million, And Water And Sewer Fund Of $1.1 Million.
The Town Provides Police Protection And Water/Sewer Services With Town Employees, And Contracts For Code Enforcement, Land Use Regulations, And Sanitation Collection.
